Welcome to the North East Texas Goat Raisers Association!!!! The North East Texas Goat Raiser’s Association, a non-profit organization, was established in 2003, through the Texas Cooperative Extension Service. Our mission is to promote the betterment of the goat industry in North East Texas with integrity and honor, with education and shared knowledge to the citizens of North East Texas and abroad. The group sponsors many events throughout the year such as sales, shows, field days and educational presentations. The organization is headed by a Board of Directors elected by the general membership. Quarterly general membership meetings are held in the North East Texas area.
Whether you are new to raising goats or have been doing it for years, NETGRA is a great place to meet other goat raisers, learn new information, or get a refresher course on something you may already know. As a member of the group, you will receive a copy of the newsletters, you will be listed on our website (a great marketing tool), you can place ads in our newsletter and online, you will be able to consign animals to our sales, and enjoy discounts for our sponsored shows.
