Welcome to the North East Texas Goat Raisers Association!!!!
The North East Texas Goat Raiser’s Association (NETGRA) is a non-profit organization established in 2003 through the Texas Cooperative Extension Service and is headed by a Board of Directors who are elected by the general membership.
NETGRA members are involved in the raising & production of the following: * Registered & Commercial Dairy Goats (Nubian, Sannen, LaMancha, etc) * Registered & Commercial Meat Goats (Boer, Kiko, Spanish, etc) * Wethers for youth 4-H, FFA & jackpot projects * Wethers for the meat market (chevon/cabrito)
Whether you are new to raising goats or have been involved in the industry for years, NETGRA is a great place to meet and visit with goat producers and to participate in a variety of events designed to increase your general knowledge of goats & to help you be more successful in your operation.
Meetings and other events are often held in the centralized Greenville & Sulphur Springs areas in an attempt to better accommodate all members. NETGRA holds regular meetings & sponsors many events throughout the year such as educational seminars, sanctioned ABGA and/or IBGA (Boer Goat) & TJLA shows, educational field days, and an annual Christmas party.
As a member of the group, you will receive a copy of the newsletters, you will be listed on our website (a great marketing tool), you can place ads in our newsletter and online, you will be able to consign animals to our sales, and enjoy discounts for our sponsored shows.
If you are interested in becoming a NETGRA member, please download the following application and return it with payment to the address on the form. Farm memberships are $40.00/yr and single memberships are $25.00/yr. Please contact any of our Board of Directors or members with any or concerns you may have.
